With high quality Al2O3 powder as main raw material and sintered at very high temperature, the tabular alumina is charactorized by its high density, low porosity, high purity, big size of crystallites, numerous micro-sized and closed pores distributed widely in intracrystallines,which endow the tabular alumina with excellent thermal shock resistance,high compression strength and good flowability when used in refractory shaped or unshaped refractories.
